In cross, you're twisting, turning, re-mounting and climbing, you need a bike that accelerates quickly and efficiently, handles well and doesn't pound your body, For that, Trek combines a lightweight, efficient Alpha Black aluminum frame with a Bontrager carbon fork and Race Lite wheelset for a snappy, forgiving ride. The cross-specific geometry is stable while SRAM's Rival drivetrain can grab gears smoothly in a hurry, even in the mud. Speaking of mud, the XO 2 has plenty of clearance, a chain watcher, 35c Bonty tires and Avid canti brakes so the slop won't slow you down.
