'12 SRAM Quarq CinQo Power Meter w/S975 Crankset (BB30, 53/39)
If you're not using a power meter and tracking your watts, then you're giving the competition an advangage. SRAM's Quarq CinQo Power Meter integrates into the crank spider for easy installation, low weight, and minimal maintenance. It's ANT+ wireless compatible, enabling you to use the head unit of your choice (sold separately), and it has no wires or external sensors, which means that your beautifully sleek road machine stays clutter-free. Since the power sensor is in the crank, you can easily switch wheels for race day. Other nice features include an easily replaced battery (no overnight charging!) and a wattage reading accuracy of +/- 2%. Also, calibration values are stored in the CinQo so there's no need to re-calibrate if you switch head units.
An ANT+ compatible wireless head unit (sold separately) is required to display data. Please contact us if you are unsure which head units will work with the CinQo.
Compatible head units include: Garmin’s Edge 800, 500, 705, and 310XT, iBike’s iAero, Bontrager’s Node 1 and 2, CycleOps’ Joule, and Specialized’s Speedzone Pro.
BB30 is an oversize bottom bracket standard that boosts stiffness and decreases weight. BB30 bottom bracket bearings are pressed directly into compatible frames, meaning there are no heavy external cups to thread in. And, BB30 cranksets feature 30mm-diameter spindles (standard spindles are smaller) for greater pedaling efficiency and increased power transfer.
