'13 Trek 3500

Trek's 3500 is a quality mountain bike ready for every adventure. Trek's Silver aluminum frame is light for nimble handling, easy acceleration and quick climbing. It's also built tough so it's fully capable of handing serious trail riding. Plus, the 3500's suspension fork dispatches bumps, rough trails, rocks and roots with ease, grace and confidence. This ripper delivers in the components department too, with a quick-shifting 21-speed Shimano drivetrain that makes easy work of the hills, powerful linear-pull brakes and a nice set of Bontrager wheels with fat, knobby tires.

Comments:

I ride this bike on my commute to school everyday, and never have any serious problems with the bike, but during my weekend sessions out on the trails the bike preforms great in slow controlled environments, and poorly in the more technical trails. Its a good beginner level bike, but if your looking for a great everyday trail bike this isn't the one for you.

I got this bike for my son. he uses it almost every day, and it's amazingly durable. He says the gears are very easy to switch, that it is a very smooth ride, and it is very light. He uses it mostly on trails. Overall, 5+ star bike!
