I bought this bike after contemplating between the 3500 disc, and the 3700 disc. After doing some research and comparing things between the two, I decided on this model from what I read online (mainly single wall rim vs. double, general shifter/derailer upgrades) and also the Trek sale was a nice incentive. I haven't had my own bike for a few years as I was growing, spending time with other interests, but now that I'm back into it I'm really happy with the bike. The components all seem pretty good.. Definitely going to be more than enough for my needs. I look forward to putting it through the paces this summer as I plan to use biking mainly for fitness/endurance. Oh and in person the bike looks awesome. Really nice color combo!
