This is a great little bike for the price, Once again Trek has not let me down! I bought this bike for commuting 24 miles round trip to work/school, and the ride/shifting is as good as my road bike I paid three times as much for. This bike is not just fun for cycling with the kids, but also great for picking up groceries. Another great thing is that this color stands out nicely in a rack full of bikes:)

This was an impulse buy.I saw the new green color at dealer and I had to have it!To be honest,if i would of had more in my impulse account, I probally would have bought a"higher" model of the fx line.really thankful i didn't! it's fun to ride.Shifts are crisp.Brakes working fine. It's light, not crazy light but coming from a TREK mountain bike it is light, responsive and handles well.yea,it probally could have higher end parts, but for the price it is cool.A seat quick clamp would have been nice, but whatever.I'm the only one that rides it.If you are riding in a pack and dressing in spandex then this bike may be to tame but for regular people its great.I have had it 2 weeks and do anywhere from 10-30 miles at a time and i LOVE it.
