'13 Trek 8.2 DS (Gary Fisher Collection)

Return to the simple joy of cycling with Trek's 8.2 DS. This go-anywhere machine is road-bike fast, hybrid-bike capable and fun everywhere. It sports a lightweight Gold Series aluminum frame and a 63mm-travel suspension fork so it floats over rough roads and paths. With multi-surface Bontrager tires wrapped around big, 700c wheels any route you want to take is yours. And hills are no worries with 21-speed Shimano gears and safe, grippy brakes at your disposal.     After three months and 400 miles on the DS 8.2 I could not be more pleased with the overal performance and comfort. After five years on a mountain bike I wanted something more suitable for the varying surfaces of Chicago city streets and traffic. It rides and handles great! I just turned 60 and feel I have the last and best machine I have ever owned. It fits my riding style perfectly.
