Don't mistake this for a Lance Armstrong book like Lance Armstrong's War and Lance: The Making of the World's Greatest Champion (both sold here at VeloGear). A brief introduction written by Armstrong is preceded by a pictorial diary of a year in the life of Lance Armstrong, from when he made the decision to return to professional cycling through to the Tour de France in 2009. The photographs are all taken by Elizabeth Kreutz and they are stunning. They are arranged in chronological order and each is accompanied by a little explanation from Armstrong about what he was doing or thinking at the time. The layout of the book and the paper stock are also high quality. Thumbing through this book gives the reader a glimpse into Armstrong's world, from family, training, advocating for his foundation, along with a new Armstrong addition. It is a gorgeous book and very interesting, it can hang out on the coffee table for countless viewings.
