Bontrager Node 2.1 Digital Computer

Get up to, ahem, speed with the next generation of computers. Bontrager's Node 2.1 Digital Computer lets you train smarter with power, speed, cadence and distance on one easy-to-read screen. Heart rate training is a snap with the included transmitter strap, too. It also tells temperature (the air's, not yours, which is probably good), and gives you your altitude and the percentage of the grade that you're climbing. Additional features include auto start, 20 minute time-out sensors and a settable interval timer. Node computers can receive data from 3rd party power devices that are ANT+ compatible like SRM cranks and PowerTap hubs, too.

    Comments:

An incredible computer. I do triathlons and this gadget does it all for me. I've tried others but just would take em back for a refund. This computer leaves me feeling happy after a ride when I expect to find all my data at my finger tips. It's a must-have if you are a stickler about your equipment performing, cuz I'm hard on my equipment physically and expectationally. Give it a try, don't worry about the money.

      Comments:

I had a Bontrager Trip 4w but wanted cadence and heart rate. Like the screen and the ease or use. The negative has been the sensor. Do not know if it is the magnet or sensor and either does my lbs. It started being real sensitive to where it was in relation to the cadence magent, then on Saturday the cadence function quit. I thought though only 2 months old it could be a battery and so I put in a new one and now both the speed and cadence do not work.
