Tubeless tires are compatible with tubeless and standard rims. When used with tubeless rims, the tire and rim form an airtight chamber, allowing the tire to be inflated without a tube. This lets you run lower pressure for optimum comfort and control without fear of pinch flats. When used with standard rims, the tire can be mounted and inflated with a tube.
