Finally broke down and purchased my first pair of biking shoes. These shoes are very light and comfortable. You hardly know you have them on. I like the way air flows thru the shoe when you are moving. The velcro straps make for a snug fit. I've only ridden 2 rides of 40 miles each with them, but so far no complaints

Long time cyclist with my first good road bike, so I needed pedals and shoes. I'm on a budget so I chose the Road Race shoes. The price does not at all indicate the quality of the shoes. Long ride comfort and stablity aplenty, easy to clip into Look pedals. Not easy to walk in but that is the case with most if not all SPD-SL/Look cleats. Walking is not the point with these pedals, riding is, and at that, the shoes excel.
