I am a mountain bike and road racer. Wore these for the first time on a 3hr road ride in 35-45deg weather with a light wind. I have chronic problems with cold hands, but I have found Primaloft to be reliably warm insulation for me so I was hopeful about these gloves. The digits of these gloves are great - well insulated and roomy enough to avoid cold-inducing constriction of fingers. My fingers were toasty warm the whole time even when damp from sweat. The palms of these gloves, however, were wholly inadequate - both in their lack of padding (especially over the base of the thumb) and insulation throughout. This lead to cold and tender palms the whole ride.
