Continental's Town & Country is a durable workhorse on and off the road, built for stability, traction and value. Police bike squadrons throughout the world use the Town & Country because of its puncture resistance, high mileage and low rolling resistance. The slick center rolls smoothly on pavement and the recessed tread offers control in the corners.
I am a diabetic, and I primarily use my bike to workout every night doing three laps around my neighborhood. So far I've gone through three tires, and this one was I am pleased with. It has good traction both on dry and wet pavement. Running over gravel, jumping over curbs, and speeding downhill. Overal no complaints.

Comments:
As an older rider, I'm not likely to be doing performance/competitive trail/jump riding, so I chose the Continental Town & Country tire to replace my knobbies ('97 Specialized "Rock Hopper"). Very pleased in handling, ride and durability. Good on "terrain" like sand/dirt, and excellent on hard-surface. I have the Continental "Gator Skins" on my road bike and equally happy.
