The KryptoFlex 1018 Key Cable is a 3/8-inch braided steel cable to be used in low-crime areas or as a secondary security measure. I commute to work - 11 miles each way. I don't want to carry any extra weight. I love this lock. I feel my bike is securely locked and I don't have to have my glasses with me to try a combination lock. My only (minor) complaint is that this is one heavy lock. I wouldn't consider carrying this one with me. I leave it in the parking garage at work and I am just waiting for IT to get lifted (although the custodians have given me a pretty good hiding place for it!) Great price for good security.

I bike to work and have to lock my bike. When I get off work late at night, its nice not having to fool with a combonation. I use this starting at the back wheel and then around a pole then around the middle of the bike and then finish with my front wheel. It comes with two keys that you can register and can be replaced for free. You can also mount it to your bike, which I don't use. If your going to use this product, you also need to consider buy a seat lock, for those of you who have removealbe seats. I didn't not know this, until I was told that others steal bike seats. So they both work together and are very easy to use!
