This is one of Kryptonite’s strongest bicycle U-locks; it has more steel than a bank vault. The 18mm MAX-Performance steel shackle and massive crossbar are designed to withstand the most rigorous tests from thieves. The next generation in disc-style cylinders makes picking nearly impossible and the oversize hardened MAX-Performance steel sleeve over the MAX-Performance steel crossbar adds extreme protection to the locking mechanisms. The New York Fahgettaboudit U-lock is 3.25 x 6-inches and has an anti-theft protection offer of $4,500.
I own about 5 quality locks, when I assembled a $3k+ titanium hardtail about 3 years ago I obsessed on ensuring it would last me the 13 years my Trek Singletrack had. This includes riding to shopping centers at night and walking away worry free. This has emerged as the #1 performer of the bunch, its weight, durability and (purportedly) security are the high points. (I say purportedly based upon the results of a British cycle publication which rated this highest against attack by power tools, lasting over 10 minutes, when most others failed in 1-2 minutes) It's a bit small, limiting your anchor options but to prevent leveraged attacks it pretty much has to be and of course the upside to that is a lighter lock. ANY lock can be eventually defeated and to be sure the best lock is always 2 of completely different designs- I use this with a cobralinks jr, now discontinued. I recommend you buy this lock and offer this with no disclaimer whatsoever. You'll see your frame or whatever it's attached to cut before you see this fall to felonious efforts.
