Add to the list the Delta Brake from Campagnolo. Featured on the Laek House Squad T-shirt (part of the Icon Series), the Delta Brake was designed in the mid-1980s to be the next great leap in technical innovation. On the surface, it earns massive style points. But in reality, it was a mess. Campagnolo went through five revisions in an attempt to make it behave properly. Eventually, in 1993, Campagnolo pulled the plug. What it lacked in functionality and ease of use, it made up for in looks. Unfortunately, its good looks didn't help stop bikes.
