I use this on a mt. bike with a reverb seat post (means I do not have a ton of clamping surface). The clamp is great. Large enough to do the job, but small enough for the post. I have had it a few weeks and I am super pleased.
I was concerned about the stability and considered the tripod design. The guys at the shop felt this would work well for me and they were right! Great advice.
A little bummed that the price on online front the shop was significantly lower than the price in the shop - but the guys have helped me a ton and it was worth it to support the local bike shop!!
