Shimano's XTR Rear Freehub is made of cold-forged-aluminum with a titanium freehub body, so it's light and tough. Speaking of tough, the freehub boasts 36 engagement points for instant pedal power with awesome durability. And, the sealed angular-contact bearings minimize rolling resistance and keep out dust, mud and water for outstanding durability. The XTR also utilizes Shimano's excellent Center Lock mount that makes securely attaching (and removing) Shimano disc-brake rotors (sold separately) super easy.
