Surly's Troll is built to do most anything and everything. The frameset is made from their signature 4130 chromoly for a smooth ride and serious durability. This build kit on board, too. It comes with super wide gearing on the 9-speed drivetrain with Shimano Deore shifters and derailleurs. That wide range of gears lets the stout Deore/Adventurer wheels wrapped in Kenda Kiniption tires climb and descend with surprising ability. Plus, a Surly Open Bar handlebar steers you in the right direction, and Avid BB7 brakes slow you down if needed.
