Thanks to cycling's always-interesting offseason shuffle, the 2012 Omega Pharma-Quick Step team is playing with a stacked deck. Omega Pharma and Quick Step each sponsored separate teams last season, but have joined together to support a revitalized roster.
Joining the resurgent Tom Boonen for 2012 are Levi Leipheimer (formerly of Team RadioShack) and world time trial champion Tony Martin (formerly of HTC Highroad). Combined with returning talent like French champion Sylvain Chavanel, Omega Pharma-Quick Step looks to be one of teams in the peloton.
