Vittoria's Open Corsa Evo CX is a top-notch tire with a great ride. This lightweight features an incredible 320-thread-per-inch casing for an awesome road feel. Plus, its twin-tread compound places a hard, long-wearing and quick-rolling compound in the center and a softer, tackier compound on the sides for cornering confidence on all surfaces and at all speeds. This great tire also features Vittoria's excellent Puncture Resistant Belting so you can stop worrying about flats.
Features and Information
Also available in Red/Black and White/Black (images unavailable from manufacturer).
This tire features Vittoria's Puncture Resistant Belting (PRB 2.0), a thin, light, extremely strong material beneath the tread that provides excellent puncture protection and minimal rolling resistance.
I upgraded to these because I did not have much confidence in the OEM tires and have been very pleased. Other than a little difficulty with mounting(maybe my lack of experience with a folding tire) I have no complaints

Comments:
Purchased these 2 weeks ago after my old tires finally died. Initially hesitant because of the price, on my first ride I was so happy I paid the extra money for quality tires.
The hardened centre tread provides the lowest rolling resistance imaginable. Cornering traction is excellent, especially once you learn to trust the tires and lean into sharp corners. Suddenly my 1990's steel road bike reached its true performance potential. This tire is not just for competitive cyclists, but anyone looking to get an extra 10-20 km/h out of their existing bike with mid-range tires.
Good tires are the best component a person can buy. So buy them!
