Yakima HoldUpYakima's HoldUp is excellent for getting all your bikes, from short bikes like BMX and kid's to long cruisers and heavy DH bikes, to your favorite destinations with no need for adapters. This sturdy rack sports heavy cast wheel trays and adjustable StrongArm retainers that barely touch the frame and cinch the bikes down for superior stability and super-quick loading. A user-friendly trigger folds the tray down for easy access and the entire mast folds up when not in use. Plus, the HoldUp also includes Yakima's LockDown cable system, which secures your bicycles and rack to your vehicle. Features and InformationREVIEW SNAPSHOT® by PowerReviewsPros

Comments: Bought this product because it was on sale and I wanted something easy that could carry all of my different types of bikes. Setup: Easy to install and use. Loading bikes: This is where everything went wrong. Loaded my mountain bike on and when I loaded my friends the handlebars hit his seat. We had to lower both seats in order for them to fit. Also we have heavier bikes and the wobble on this rack scared me. At the trailhead I saw only Thule racks and I asked one of the guys if I could check his out. Way better construction and the trays moved so I did not have to move my seatpost. Long story short, took this one back to the store. Bought the Thule full price though. I like it so much I have one + the 2 bike addition; and my wife has an 1 1/4" version for her car. The Thule T2 is the better rack in this category.

Comments: This is a SUPER-EASY rack that provides SUPER-FAST bike loading!! I have used multiple rack systems, including Yakima roof racks for years and this rack is by far the most user-friendly rack on the market. Period. I initially purchased the 2-bike rack and after a few months I ended up adding the additional 2-bike attachment. It is a bit heavy if you take it on and off, but again the simplicity of loading the bikes is worth the added "weight." Assembly takes appx. 20-25 minutes and it's pretty straight forward. The included cable lock and beefy hitch pin are awesome! I just purchased rack system #2 for the R.V. and at this current sale price it's a steal of a deal! DON'T WAIT......GET YOURS TODAY!

Comments: This product folds to a nice compact space saver. I seldom remove my rack and this was a very attractive benefit. I had two primary issues. 1)When folded up, the rack leaned to the driver side. Apparently it was built this way, but was not designed this way (per Yakima). This was purely aesthetic. 2)The pivot worked loose on me twice, dropping the rack down in the lower position while driving (scary). I loved this rack so much, I went through 4 of them before I finally gave up and got a Thule. Sorry Yakima, I tried. I hope my experience is an isolated one.

Comments: Take it from a guy who lost a 6 month old bike from falling off an other rack. I have driven 2 hours at highway speed and don't think twice with this rack. Also fits my wife's cruiser bike which the last rack could not accomodate. Bike Line Rules!!!

Comments: Feels solid and trustworthy with 4 bikes roughly worth over $20k. The big beefy pin is reassuring over a little pull pin. with the 2 bike add on it costs a pretty penny but got us down to one car for shuttle runs.
