Best Uses Comments: Good rack and holds bikes well down the road. Well worth $$$. However I don't understand why the designers put the skids to carry the bikes UNDER the load bearing member, bolting from the top!?! This is a "no brainer", always put your load on TOP if possible. I could see no reason why they could not unless there was a clearance issue when the rack is up. Other than really heavy, that would be my only complaint. However for the care of my expensive bikes, a good purchase.
