This is a great beginner triathlete bike. You can get a great frame w/ entry level components without spending a fortune. However, CAUTION!!! Make sure that the bike has the revised seat binder otherwise the seat will slam down the first bump you hit. The old binder seems to still be on some new 2011 bikes even though the problem was reported last year. Shims do not work consistently and you need to replace the binder. [...] my new bike has been reduced to an indoor trainer. The lower rating is based on the fact that I have only been able to ride it outdoors 3 times in 2 months because of the seat binder problem.

I picked my SC 7.0 up last week. I love it. I do sprint triathlons. I do not have an issue with the components. I think they are fine for most age groupers if the engine running the bike is sound :)... I am 6'1 200 lbs and this bike is very comfortable for me. I did some hills last weekend and it handled like a champ. I was also impressed with the take off speed. I went from 0 - 18 mph very quickly. Overall, I think this is an excellent bike for the money.

this bike is incredible, so much technology packed into it and for a reasonable price as well.. i already added the draft box and tri bottle cages and it is just a beast.things that are great about it are: incredible aerodynamics, great integration throughout the bike, somewhat light at around 19.5 lbs stock without pedals..

I'm a thriathlete. Multisport is also multicosts. This bike is payable for me and has all I want in a ttbike.. We're upgrading it's components when I can pay for it..
