    Comments:

I test rode this noble steed as a Gary Fisher model in April 2010, back to back along with the Rumblefish II, the Trek Remedy 9.9, and 9.8, EX 9.9, and a Top Fuel 9.8, all 2010 models. I did 30 minute runs on each, same trail, and was most impressed with the rapid acceleration of this bike, the lightweight, controlled tossability, and the perfect riding position. For comparison sake, while the Rumblefish II (an aluminum 29er trail bike) felt lighter and faster, yet more stable than my person 2008 EX 8, this bike felt so ridiculously quick, yet controllable, that I felt I had gone crazy. This is a must have bike, and I'd daresay one of, if not the fastest MTB around.
